Strategic Partnership Project Agreement
All subcontracting work must be carried out with a view to directly supporting the performance of the DOE contractor, as defined in the Strategic Partnership Project Proposal Package. The SLAC contact will then contact SLAC`s legal and business advisory offices to develop the contract that will govern the partnership. The partner and the contact will jointly establish, under the guidance of SLAC`s legal team, the appropriate type of partnership for the project. With this PPS, a non-federal unit of the NGO pays for a research-oriented project. This version of the non-federal PPS has no value limit of the agreement and contains intellectual property provisions that deal with inventions. The NGO uses Technology Commercialization Agreements (TAAs) when a partner wants to use highly specialized or technical services to carry out a project. An ACT agreement also entitles participating contractors in the United States. . . .
