Ibew Local 48 Inside Agreement 2018
(Commercial/industrial contract, valid 01.01.2018 – 31.12.2020) The IBEW Local 48 has been around for more than a century. In general, most of the partners heard from IBEW electricians and technicians and about half of them decided to become members. The rest of the electricity workers have not received the information they need to make a fair decision on membership, or they have ideological opposition of any kind. One way or another, we`re glad you`re here to find out more. By coming together, we are ultimately creating the cost of the labour investments we are making in the highly profitable electrical industry. The best part is that we are not facing our electric companies, but we are side by side and we are signing our contracts as partners. Read on to learn more about how our organization can benefit you and your family. The NECA/IBEW partnership has established one of the best work environments and performance plans for electrical construction in the United States. Your valued commitment to this partnership will ensure that you have a place to earn our hard-earned rewards. Each of our 3 programs provides the apprentice with the requirements for the Oregon State Journeyman licence exam and, if applicable, the Washington Journeyman License Examination.
Our apprentices are prepared through classroom and workplace training. The training centre offers 3 NECA/IBEW Local 48 apprenticeship training courses. Each program trains apprentices in a licensed trade and includes them through the Oregon State Department of Learning. If you are interested in becoming a licensed Journeyman in the electrical industry, please check the programs we offer to determine what is right for you. In addition to the benefits listed above, NECA/IBEW Local 48 offers a Journeyman signature bonus of $1,000.
